A Warm Welcome from WBro. John Sheil, Worshipful Master 2025-26

Thank you for visiting our web site, Downshire Masonic Lodge 108 sits in Galwally House, Drumkeen Complex, 1 Upper Galwally Belfast County Antrim BT8 6TB meets on the Third Tuesday of the month with the exception of June, July & August.

Galwally House is the newest hall in the Province of Down and is the Headquarters of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand lodge of Down.

We are a small but growing lodge and enjoy several social events a year to raise money for charities but most of all to enjoy ourselves, these events are a great way to meet new friends. We also hold a ladies night once a year, which is a chance to get dressed up and have a great evening.

The Provincial Deputy Grand Master Right Worshipful Brother David H Selby and Provincial Grand Secretary Very Worshipful Brother Mark Wilson representing Provincial Grand Lodge of Down on the 300th Anniversary Celebration of Irish Freemasonry held at The National Cathedral & Collegiate Church of Saint Patrick, Dublin - 22nd June 2025.

An Annual Grand Lodge Visit by Downshire Masonic Lodge 108 & Sir George Clark Mem. Lodge 669 held on 24th May 2025 an excellent Master Mason Degree conducted by VWBro. Mark Wilson & all participants conducted themselves brilliantly especially the Worshipful Master of SGC Mem Lodge 669 WB. AJ Madrid, luckily we have WB Mark Burstow who played the organ that made the day more special as he said "it was fun! a three manual allen, seamlessly fitted into the old casework.  As ever, the best stop on the organ was the building with a very sympathetic acoustic!".  A special thanks to Grand Tyler Barry for the Grand Lodge tour and also to Bro Nigel Millen for organising the day and the Staff for dinner & drinks.

Grand Lodge Visit

A delegation of fourteen Brethren from Downshire 108 visited Grand Lodge on Saturday 22nd June 2019 for the purposes of confering a Third Degree, a great afternoon was had by all and we would especially like to thank the staff at Freemasons Hall for their hospitality and knowledge.
